The Workshop will take place in the Predigerkirche, “Preacher’s Church”, which is located in downtown Erfurt, in the “Old Town” (Altstad) quarter, close to the main attractions, shops and restaurants.

Erfurt is an historic city with a population of 200.000, capital of the Thuringia state in Central Germany. The climate in June is on the overall dry and warm, with temperatures usually ranging from 10°C/50°F to 21°C/70°F.
How to get there
The best option is to fly to either Frankfurt (the closest) or Munich and take a train from there.
The Erfurt-Weimar airport is poorly connected and is used only for charter and low-cost flights to summer holiday locations in Europe and the Middle-East.
Frankfurt Airport Train to Erfurt is about 2 hours and a half, it may require changing in Frankfurt Central but there are also a few direct trains. The fare is about $50 as of July 2018.
Munich Airport to Erfurt is about 3 ½ hours and it requires a change in Munich Main (no direct trains). It is also more expensive (around $100 as of July 2018)

Erfurt Central Train Station is downtown, a 15 minutes walk from the Predigerkirche. In any case, here is a link to Erfurt public transport with a route planner. It is in German but Google offers to translate it and the result is quite readable:

Accommodations
Both Airbnb.com and Booking.com offer a wide choice of hotel, mini-apartment or B&B accommodation within walking distance from Predigerkirche.

Meals
Lunch for the workshop days (Monday to Friday) is included in the seminar fee, and will consist of a salad or sandwich with fruit and water, packaged as a lunch-box. Please let us know when you apply if you would like a vegan/vegetarian option or have food allergies and intolerances.
